FS#44446 - Pack Linking

After watching a bunch videos for other issues, I can say that the pack linking shown here: (Keystone.guru → Create route → Eye of Azshara → Create route) seems to be correct and should be implemented.

I was surprised to see the crabs not being linked, but they just pull because of call assist. You can see it here and here for example.

Is this website accurate for ALL the dungeons?

If so, then it can be a basis for all trash related movements, links and whatnots.

Aithne commented on 22.08.2023 22:42

It's not lol. Not even the trash pack compositions are accurate for like half the dungeons and MoS isn't even on there.

Exagger-Tauri commented on 22.08.2023 23:20

And they call themselves guru lol

patch notes peter commented on 22.08.2023 23:35

because the website wasn't made for 7.3.5, if you haven't noticed it only has dungeons that were readded to the m+ pool or timewalking later on

altough I fail to see the issue with EoA, so elaborate pls
don't see how the pack composition changes that those mobs should pull together

Exagger-Tauri commented on 22.08.2023 23:46

In that case, wouldn't the ingame addon called Mythic(Method) Dungeon Tools be more precise?

patch notes peter commented on 23.08.2023 00:26

Well the main reason I thought the website is better, is because MDT in-game only shows what's linked to what if you add that mob to your route. The website seemed faster to use. I guess you could use the MDT code, but then you have to go to the mob's position to see which one it is.

Other than that its incorrect in places, for example these are 5 crabs:

[1] = {x = 393.99994114414,y = -225.4999206923,g=28},
[2] = {x = 397.77569388906,y = -220.69711916338,g=28},
[3] = {x = 396.99995457009,y = -229.49998573586,g=28},
[4] = {x = 394.99995447136,y = -223.49989403784,g=28},
[5] = {x = 398.99998122454,y = -224.50000493042,g=28},

g=group=linked
Which is easily debunked if you watch videos, since none of the crabs should be linked.

Someone else had issues with it in DHT too apparently.

I'm not opposed to the MDT data being used by default, it is probably correct in most cases.
