Boss dialogue is not timed in any way, the RP advances by one line for every complete trashpack killed.

That makes you have to pass through certain routes, which isn't logical. Here's proof what is implemented on tauri is WRONG :

Boss finishes dialogue before & while KILLING the two npcs beforehands.
Those few lost seconds of RP can cost a run at high keys.

If the boss is reached before a sufficient number of packs (any packs, no particular ones are prioritized) are killed, the dialogue does run its entire length, but there are fixed iirc 8 second-ish gaps between the individual lines, no matter what source they come from, killing a pack or arriving at the gate. There is no further timing besides that, and the cooldown between "lines" (some are multi-line blocks of dialog) only exists so that they are separated from each other. The only thing I can do is *slightly* reduce that cooldown, but the MECHANISM itself is definitely correct and you can legit go on retail right now to check it.

I've spent weeks on this instance, looked through all of the videos you've linked and then some, and my conclusions were supported by all of them. The only thing that's guessed here is how often he tries to speak... He'll try to say the next line every 2 seconds with a 6 second cooldown. Since the runs in your videos do not even have timestamped chat (and are, therefore, utterly fucking useless in my books for determining dialogue timing), I can only make approximations, but in your second video (M+ 26 prot pal pov), the first line is said at 7:12-ish (very early into that second), and is actually 6023 milliseconds long, but the second line does not start until WELL into the 7:19 second, so about 7.5 seconds later. So my timings seem pretty much spot on, actually.

And if you're looking at videos to find good info on Metamorphosis, you'll be there for a while. Most guides and I think even boss mod addons have the first meta as a health percentage thing, but it is timed at a set 20 seconds on Mythic, regardless of whether you're actually hitting the boss or not.

The RP indeed triggers based on packs killed for some, and packs aggro'ed for other lines which is why I perceived the "timing is def wrong".

On tauri, on this very exact route (You have to be a rogue/night elf/hunter because of the incorrect chained packs to follow the order), the RP clumps together after killing 3 out of 4 of the last pull made on that video, however on retail as observed in the video above, the boss is aggroable while all 4 are alive.
I would love to make a behavior analysis table on the NPCs but I would really appreciate if the bosses /yell becomes dungeon wide in order to compare them 1 by 1.
I respect the work you've put in, and am not trying to invalidate it, am just being a tester. Timestamps are useless if we're not trying to measure how long it takes to trigger a bunch of them, and am sure you've got the ms of voice lines right, that was never my point.

It is definitely always, ALWAYS packs killed. Some lines belong together, in the same conversation sequence, and conversation sequences depend on packs being killed.

And if the boss sees the party, all the RP starts playing in one continuous blob.
